Chelita's Story - A Cancer Survivor

This case presentation is based on the chart notes (with the patient's approval) as well as the observations and insights of her health care providers. Extensive lab reports are included with the patient’s permission.

The case focuses on an adult female who was diagnosed by her surgeons with terminal adenocarcinoma and mesothelioma, and given one day to live.

It chronicles the three years of her life after that prognosis was given, and details the nonprotocol treatments she used to rid her body of cancer.

Her death, three years later, was a peaceful one of natural causes as the result of old age.
